Sandi Landon is a highly experienced Human Resource (HR) manager specializing in HR management and leadership training. She has demonstrated her commitment to advancing the field of HR through strategic leadership and community involvement, as evidenced by her numerous roles with Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) including President and President Elect for Eastern Idaho.. 

Sandi's Experience

Sandi's professional journey began in marketing and sales at a fertilizer company, where she gained early exposure to the world of HR management and occupational safety. This experience ignited her passion for the field. She then transitioned into managing a staffing office and overseeing multiple field offices, honing her ability to leverage the talents of both employers and employees, and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

Her career then took a multifaceted turn as a project manager for significant endeavors in diverse sectors, including the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and Homeland Security. Simultaneously, she served as a Lieutenant for the Central Fire Department, actively contributing as a Firefighter/EMT and Hazardous Materials Technician. Her dedication in this role earned her accolades, including Firefighter/EMT of the year and Hazardous Materials Technician of the year in 2002.

In her current role as a Human Resource Privacy and Compliance Specialist, Sandi excels at ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating misunderstandings and liabilities through effective training strategies. Prior to her current position, she served as the Global Human Resource Director for Teton Outfitters, overseeing HR operations for multiple brands globally.

Sandi's Education and Certifications

Sandi holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Idaho and possesses over 20 years of leadership, management, and HR expertise. She is also a proud recipient of multiple certifications,  including SHRM CP and HRCI PHR certifications.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sandi resides in Bancroft, Idaho, where she and her family own a ranch and a small miniature bull riding business. As a mother of five adventurous boys, a grandson, and a granddaughter, Sandi actively encourages and supports her family's pursuit of their dreams.
